🦧 369 billion & (alt) energy
💰 that’s $369b now
w. virginia dem senator joe manchin agreed to a compromise on a senate bill yesterday
this is a huge signal – the legislation, also called "inflation reduction act of 2022" would pour 369 billion dollars into climate change and clean energy initiatives
renewable energy and electric vehicle tax credits
the us may now be able to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 31~44% below 2005 levels by 2030 (for context, biden’s promised 50%)
if enacted, this would be the largest, most influential climate initiative
👀 with that said, im keeping my eyes on…
ICLN 0.00%↑ - global clean energy etf
CEG 0.00%↑ - nation's largest carbon-free energy provider
FSLR 0.00%↑ - us solar panel manufacturer
PLUG 0.00%↑ - nation's largest hydrogen fuel cell maker
with that said though, there’s a change the law does not get enacted or something (little, but not zero) - it is not guaranteed these tickers will keep shooting up
however, imo: there will definitely be a much greater volume of money flow (investment and infrastructure) into this space once the law is enacted, and that magnitude would unprecedented
so, that’s a general trend one should keep monitoring and could benefit from
💡 something im thinking about
