finland’s prime minister, sanna marin, has been caught in a scandal recently:

• a video was leaked of her drinking and dancing with friends

• a slang word for cocaine was also mentioned

naturally, this caused a debate among people in finland and the rest of the world as to whether or not it was appropriate. she immediately agreed to a drug test

💁 aren’t govt officials people too?

there are two sides to this controversy:

• many sympathize with the PM, as private life should not be taken under criticism and some have even participated in a dancing movement to show support

• others say she is acting inappropriately as she was also caught clubbing last year (she had been in contact with a covid case at the time)

is this merely the carefree private life of a political leader or a pattern of irresponsible behavior?
