a delaware judge declared that fox news made false statements regarding dominion voting systems – one of the companies that provided voting machines and software for the 2020 election. the case will go to a jury trial, to be held april 17th

what happened?
in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election fox news made the claim that dominion rigged their machines so that biden would win
in response, dominion filed a defamation lawsuit, saying that fox news damaged its reputation. fox then filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit
since this happened, executive chairman of fox corporation rupert murdoch admitted that some fox news hosts sold the “false notion” that the election was stolen
🦍 it’s up to the jury now
it will be up to the jury to decide whether fox was intentional in their spread of misinformation, and how much damage it did to dominion
we’ll have to see how it plays out, but even if fox loses i doubt it would change the minds of its most loyal viewers – who are adamant in the belief that the election was rigged and that voting machines are dangerous
