former president trump, despite having ended his term two years ago, still appears regularly in the news - his most recent reason for coverage: a potential indictment for paying hush money to ex-pornstar stormy daniels in 2016 (just before the election), who claims she had sexual relations with him. trump denies everything

daniels says she met trump in 2006, and the two of them had sexual relations in his hotel room

• she first revealed this in 2011 to 60 minutes, but trump’s lawyer threatened the magazine with legal action and they didn’t publish

• she signed a non-disclosure agreement (nda) and received a payment of $130k in 2016 to be quiet about this matter

now, prosecutors are asking trump to testify
