🦍 is he losing it?
struck a nerve
in a meeting broadcast on state television, vladamir putin was seen getting testy with one deputy prime minister denis manturov, who is currently in charge of supplying weapons and equipment to russian troops. tbh, the video had me scared to shit - i would not want to be an official in russia right now
the situation
as i’m sure you can guess, things have not been playing out too well for putin, as
the war has led to a 3% gdp decrease in 2022 - which, while not fatal, is significant as it was expected to grow 3%
ukraine has had victory after victory, and morale is high
us officials say russian artillery fire is down by 75% and russia even proposed a 36-hour ceasefire - this could likely be a sign they’re straining
we’ll have to wait
so it seems that the exchange between putin and manturov could be a ploy to elevate putin’s strong image and shift some blame to those around him. no one can tell how long putin is going to keep this up or if he can ever succeed, but signs are definitely not positive for him
