north korea launched approximately 23 missiles in the direction of south korea and japan on wednesday. some noteworthy points:
these missiles landed south of the northern limit line, a line in the sea west of the korean peninsula - this was the first time such a thing happened
this was in response to the joint military drills the us army and south korean army held, called the vigilant storm
heightened danger of nuclear war
russian leader vladamir putin has been threatening to deploy nuclear weapons in his struggle to conquer ukraine, and this has led many to wonder if these countries might actually start a nuclear war
