elizabeth ii’s death has sparked a long overdue debate - is the monarchy still necessary? there have been several protests saying there should be no more kings and queens in the uk. the reasons are not just because he gets mad at pens
the queen’s funeral is to be paid with tax money but is estimated to cost several million dollars
given that they are not elected, some feel they shouldn’t be in positions of power
even new prime minister, liz truss, once said she doesn’t believe in the monarchy
what do you think? is it outdated to have this system?
